About Tracy

As a child, Tracy was diagnosed with a severe learning disability. By third grade, she was still not able to read. However, she had a bright, inquisitive mind; constantly asking penetrating questions and analyzing all possible answers. This led her, at a young age, to question the existence of God. She declared herself an atheist. Years later, stimulated by a friend’s threatened suicide, her journey transitioned into seeking the truth about God.

In her early thirties, she finally surrendered her heart to Jesus Christ. Having a relationship with God as Trinity, the validity of the Scripture, and the power of the Word have all radically transformed her personal life, marriage, parenting and relationships. As a former skeptic, God has used her inquisitive mind to fuel her passion for apologetics, which is the art of gently and respectfully defending the Christian faith against other competing truth claims. She is committed to simply and deeply studying the Bible daily and keeping in step with the Spirit to inspire others to live their lives fully devoted to Christ.

Tracy met her husband, Bruce, at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. They have been married since 1991. Bruce is Jewish and became a follower of Christ in 1998. God's story of his heart transformation powerfully colors the fabric of their marriage. They have been blessed with two children and have lived in Illinois and California and now reside in their beloved Texas.

"Dyslexia requires determination to dive into things that others seem to take for granted - As a result, I see Tracy’s ability to gain a deeper wisdom from the Scriptures – she is able to come to that place of seeing the significance of the scripture faster than those who just read it in "black and white.” That is where so much of her fire and passion seems to come from.  She brings the color to the words for us. We then go, "Really?  I never saw that before."  It gives me chills to think about it.”
